Sunny Day Motors is a small, family-owned business that was created to give each customer an experience they will not receive anywhere else when purchasing a vehicle. The owners picked the name “Sunny Day” because their son loves Sesame Street and sings the “Sunny Day” song many times a day.
Allyson and Jon are the owners and are the primary people each customer will work with. Jon has spent 28 years in the car business and has created a loyal following of customers who will travel from far away or have vehicles delivered to them because of the way he conducts business. Allyson worked in the accounting department of a dealership during high school and college before having a successful career at ExxonMobil. She, then, came back into the industry as a chief financial officer of a dealership group for 6 years. Jon and Allyson have always wanted to own their own dealership and while on vacation in Tampa found the perfect spot on Dale Mabry. A love of the area and a passion for the industry brought them from Louisiana to Florida in a matter of a month or so.
The desire to have a smaller dealership that gives every person a great experience when purchasing a vehicle is the foundation of Sunny Day Motors. We understand anyone can go online, buy a car, and have it delivered to them. We believe purchasing a vehicle should be a fun experience that you love to talk about. If you want your car delivered, we will be happy to do that. If you want to come to the dealership to pick up your vehicle, you can do that as well. Either way, we want you to become a friend and person you can trust for advice with any automotive questions.
